Rukungiri farmers count losses as area is hit by hailstorm
Scores of families in the Southern Division of Rukungiri Municipality are facing starvation after hailstorms devastated their plantations and gardens. This follows a heavy rainstorm that hit the area yesterday, destroying several gardens. Many residents, who are also farmers, are appealing to the government for assistance.
