Schools advised to buy posho from certified millers
The Uganda National Bureau of Standards UNBS has advised schools to stop procuring Posho and beans from uncertified grain millers. The standards body says many Ugandans are consuming contaminated food which has resulted in increasing cases of cancer. UNBS was meeting owners and heads of schools in Kampala to discuss the dangers of feeding learners with toxic food.
