Shs 2.5b allocated for storage facility construction
The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) has allocated 2.5 billion shillings for the construction of a national cold chain storage facility, specifically designed for animal drugs, in preparation for potential outbreaks of animal diseases. This facility also aims to provide secure and efficient storage for animal vaccines, thereby enhancing the country's animal health infrastructure.
