The Electoral Commission has announced the nomination of candidates for the 2026 Parliamentary Elections, including Special Interest Groups. The nominations will take place between October 22 and 23, 2025. The Commission has also set November 10 as the official start date for campaigns for both Parliamentary and local government positions, ahead of the Presidential polling day on January 15, 2026. All campaigns are expected to close 48 hours before voting. David Ijjo reports.
