Record number rush for Presidential nomination forms

Just three days after the Electoral Commission opened the nomination window, a record number of aspirants have picked up presidential nomination forms. The process is simple: a registered voter with a national ID can obtain the papers. But for independent candidates, the real challenge begins afterward—collecting at least 100 signatures from registered voters in at least 98 districts.
