Government allocates UGX 19.79 trillion for key sectors in 2024-25 budget
EACOP, SGR, works, and rural electrification are some of the sectors that received a share in the government’s final release of the 2024/25 budget, amounting to Sh19.79 trillion. According to Ramathan Ggoobi, the Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary, the government is focusing on agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, and science and technology in its drive for tenfold economic development.
