Government resumes hotel classification
The Uganda tourism board is resuming the exercise to rate hotels across the country’s key cities. According to the Uganda tourism board, the classification and rating exercise will take a month from now and aimed at ensuring all hotels meet the required standards. Classifications help guests to get an overview of the hotel without having to check the property themselves. It thereby facilitates trade by acting as an intermediary, providing trust between the customer and the property.
