Uganda pursues US market despite AGOA suspension
Despite President Joe Biden's administration kicking Uganda out of the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), Ugandans are still pursuing the US market. As talks continue in the background for Uganda's readmission, the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID) has nominated trade representatives to the US and other countries to establish trade hubs and promote Ugandan products.
