Uganda-Tanzania trade mission 2025 aims to resolve non-tariff barriers
Tanzania and Uganda have, over the years, had the highest number of unresolved non-tariff barriers in the region, creating an imbalance in trade relations, despite many protocols signed by the leaders on the same. According to Oscar Kamukama, a member of the board of the East African Business Council, many new NTBs continue to emerge. Therefore, the Uganda-Tanzania Trade Mission 2025, taking place in Kampala, is seen as a step in resolving many of these issues. Betty Ndagire reports.
