Ugandan Scientist Dr. Kazeire's vidicine vaccine approved by government
A Ugandan chemist, natural medicine scientist, and diet therapist, Dr. Edward Kazeire, has earned government approval for a locally manufactured vaccine, Vidicine—an innovation that President Museveni applauded as an advancement in herbal research. The herbal vaccine was first notified by the National Drug Authority in 2021. During his speech at the Tarehe Sita celebrations, President Museveni noted that through local scientific research trials, the country discovered a cure for coronavirus disease, intermittent coughs, influenza, and a vaccine against ticks in livestock.
