Utility and telecom companies need special consideration
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa has said the government should set up an infrastructure corridor, which can be rented out to different fiber network providers and utility companies to avoid the constant digging of roads to create space for cables. He was speaking at the unveiling of Canal Box in Kampala today. He said this will raise the much-needed revenue and will promote broadband penetration in view of Vision 2040.
