NUP threatens legal action against security agencies over Eddie Mutwe abduction
The National Unity Platform (NUP) is planning to resort to legal action against security agencies if the whereabouts of Eddie Ssebuwuufu, otherwise known as Eddie Mutwe, remain unknown for 48 hours, since yesterday. This follows reports that Ssebuwuufu was violently kidnapped along with another supporter known as Kassimu Ssebudde, sometimes known as Kunta. The NUP says all this is aimed at diverting them but not rebelling against them. Police said they do not know the whereabouts of Ssebuwuufu.
