Empowerment initiatives aim to boost standards for Ugandan oil and gas suppliers
Local suppliers affected by the oil and gas activities have missed out on business opportunities because they do not meet the required standards. According to John Bosco Habumiggisha, the Deputy Managing Director of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, the narrative will change with the ongoing empowerment of Ugandans to improve the standards of their supplies.
