Falling tea prices lead Kyenjojo farmers to abandon crop
Kyenjojo is the second-largest tea farming district in the Rwenzori region, following Kabarole. In this district, seven out of 31 sub-counties, with over 20,000 farmers, primarily rely on tea cultivation. However, the situation is evolving as farmers are increasingly turning away from growing the crop due to declining prices. 3
