Former KCCA officials granted bail in Kiteezi landfill case
Former Kampala Capital City Authority Executive Director Dorothy Kisaka, her Deputy David Luyimbazi, and Dr. Daniel Okello, the former Director of Public Health, have been bailed. They returned to Kasangati Chief Magistrates Court for their bail application hearing. The three were charged on October 18th with 57 counts, including manslaughter. They were dismissed by President Museveni after investigations by the IGG revealed the cause of death of 34 people and the injury of 23 at Kiteezi Landfill.
