Gulu Archbishop-elect urges protection of Uganda Martyrs' values
The Archbishop-elect of the Gulu Ecclesiastical Province, Raphael Wokorach, has called for more efforts to protect the values of the Uganda Martyrs to avoid negatively impacting the Namugongo shrine. Bishop Wokorach, who has assumed responsibility for organizing the Uganda Martyrs' Day on behalf of the Uganda Episcopal Conference, wants the shrine to remain a center for spiritual renewal. The organizing team has assured the public that the 1.8 billion shilling budget has almost been met, and nothing will deter them from having successful celebrations.
