Impact of the Pope’s visit: Reflecting on Uganda’s preparations
With the confirmation of the Pope's visit to Uganda in 2015, the government and the Catholic Church worked hard to ensure a fitting welcome for the Pontiff. The government injected over 30 billion to boost preparations and improve certain establishments, such as the Catholic Martyrs' Shrines in Namugongo.
