Investors look to bamboo growing in rural Uganda
Investors from various countries are in Uganda to assess the potential investment in the bamboo sector. In 2019, Uganda developed the Bamboo Strategy and Action Plan to guide investment in this sector, which is still in its infancy. The Ministry of Water and Environment and the National Forestry Authority are hosting the investors' study tour.
