Kamuli residents accuse police canine unit of extortion
In the Northern Division of Kamuli Municipality, Kamuli District, residents have accused the police of turning the Canine Unit into a cash cow. The residents claim that, despite the services being free, they are paying hefty sums for the sniffer dogs, while suspects in rampant cattle theft cases are released and evidence is ignored.
