Local leaders tipped on how to respond to constituents
District leaders in Alebtong have carried out a sensitisation workshop for local political leaders on how they should interact with residents. The move follows concerns that they may lose their seats in the next elections, unless they continue to mobilise their electorate. Dickens Ogwal, the Executive Director, Lango Civil Society Network, used the occasion to appeal to local leaders to be responsive to the views of citizens for the benefit of the local community.
