Scribes tortured by soldiers narrate their ordeal
The last two weeks have been a big test for the journalism fraternity as scribes, deployed to cover the Kawempe North by-election, ended up being targeted by security agencies. A number of journalists targeted by police and other security operatives are still nursing injuries with some others steadily recovering. We have visited a couple of them to ascertain their state.
