Soldiers beat up journalists as they cover Kyagulanyi
Soldiers belonging to the Military Police badly beat up a number of journalists and some were hospitalized as they covered former presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu as he led a team of to deliver a petition to the office of UN Human Rights in Kololo, Kampala. Ironically, the journalists were battered and their rights abused as they covered Kyagulanyi who was appealing to the UN Human rights body to take action against security agencies for violating the rights of some Ugandans through illegal arrests or abductions and detention as well as torture.
