Three Chinese nationals arrested over mining activities
Two illegal sand miners of Chinese descent have been arrested in Nasiita Nabiwanga in Mpigi district, over illegal sand mining. In an operation mounted by NEMA enforcement team together with the Ministry of Water and UPDF, equipment including sino trucks, excavators, and light sand mining equipment were all impounded.
