Uganda aims to exit FATF grey list by February 2023
Uganda may be off the grey list of the Global Financial Action Task Force by February next year if the remaining two concerns that is capacity building for law enforcers and real-time access to end-user company information from URSB are fixed. Uganda was placed on the grey list in February 2020 for being among the 24 countries in the highest deficiencies in the enforcement of anti-money laundering and terrorism financing.
