Uganda and AGRA launch RE-GAIN program to tackle food loss
The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), in partnership with the Government of Uganda, has begun implementing the Scaling Solutions for Food Loss Reduction in Africa program (RE-GAIN). The initiative aims to reduce food loss in the agricultural sector by supporting farmers with affordable technologies such as solar dryers and hermetic storage. The program will also foster an enabling environment through policy alignment and improved access to climate finance and data systems. Compiled by Alosious Atwiine.
