What NRM Liberation commemoration means to generation Z
A week after the country commemorated Liberation Day, many youths - those under the age of 30 years of age, say the commemoration is meaningless to them. They argue that after nearly four decades in power, President Museveni has yet to comprehensively address most of the critical issues that affect them. DANIEL KIBET has been speaking to them and heard that most of them do not feel the essence of liberation as corruption, lack of jobs, and human rights abuses remain a major headache for the government.
