Absa Bank offers UGX 50 million towards Joshua Cheptegei Foundation
Ten thousand meters Olympic champion Joshua Cheptegei is not about to stop receiving money as proceeds of his activities on and off the track, because Absa Bank Uganda today has offered 50 million out of the 300 million shillings they collected from this year’s ABSA Kampala Seven hills run will be given to his foundation in Kapchorwa to support the education of the girl child in Joshua Cheptegei Junior school.Five other charity organisations including Nyaka Aids Orphans Project, Baylor College, Amraf Health Africa, Windle International and World Vision will benefit from the proceeds of the run along with the Cheptegei Foundation.
