The National Unity Platform has demanded the unconditional release of two Kenyan political activists who were allegedly disappeared on Ugandan soil on Wednesday.

Forty-seven-year-old Bob Njagi and his counterpart, Nicholas Oyoo, were reportedly intercepted by gun-wielding individuals at a fuel station in Kireka, Wakiso District, before being bundled into a waiting Toyota Hiace.

The NUP party spokesperson, who also serves as the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, has accused the security agencies of masterminding the disappearance.
