Uganda’s reputation on the international stage is a blend of positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the country has played a role in helping to address global issues, such as contributing to the resolution of political instability in various nations. On the negative side, however, Uganda faces criticism for its poor human rights record. In this report, Daniel Kibet highlights Uganda’s role as a regional arbiter.
