The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, on Wednesday directed the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) to carry out a value-for-money audit on the operations of the Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) after she indicted it for failure to deliver on its mandate, this has led to a disagreement between the Speaker and Joel Ssenyonyi, Chairperson of COSASE. This adds to the challenge of omnibus reports that rose amid another misfortune of the rift between Persis Namuganza and Among the speaker.
