Uganda to issue circular on co-curricular activities
Uganda's Commissioner for Government Secondary Education, Juliet Atuhairwe Kazoora, is announcing new measures to address changes in schools. She indicated that, to implement these changes, a circular will be issued to guide school heads on co-curricular activities, emphasizing the importance of adherence to ensure the well-being of students. Relatedly, the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr. Grace Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, expressed concerns about politicians preventing parents from supporting their children, particularly with meals while at school. This, he noted, has significantly impacted learners' performance.
