Local NGO Aids former poachers in Kanungu to turn to farming
In Kanungu, a local community organization has gifted a group of reformed poachers and community members living on the outskirts of Queen Elizabeth National Park with apiaries and a goat project. The move, by Save Wildlife Uganda, is aimed at promoting community conservation, especially for those living in the sub-counties of Kihiihi and Nyanga in Kanungu District.
