Agents push for longer clearing and forwarding licenses
Clearing agents under the Uganda Clearing Industry and Forwarding Association are calling on the Uganda Revenue Authority to scrap the current one-year licensing regime, citing operational disruptions and overlap with key processes such as bond execution. The concerns were raised during the Association’s Annual General Meeting held in Kampala.
