Challenges faced by Eastern Uganda's micro-enterprises
The majority of microenterprises in the eastern part of Uganda, especially those owned by youth and women, are still finding it hard to access billions of shillings available for lending and linkages to markets to sell their products. According to Loy Katali, the district women representative of Jinja District, the general lack of education or skills is leading to the failure of many microenterprises in the district.
