Funds shortage harming government project oversight
The Executive Director of the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA), Benson Turamye, says that the lack of sufficient funds for the operations of numerous government agencies charged with monitoring projects could be contributing to poor contract execution, among other challenges.
