MTN Uganda restoring internet after cable cut
Telecom, internet, and mobile financial services firm MTN Uganda says work to restore smooth internet connectivity is ongoing. NTV spoke to the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN, Sen Somdev, who was on a journey to western Uganda. He is calling on users to be patient, given the complex nature of the problem. This comes after several countries in the EAC started experiencing slow internet connections due to a sub-sea cable serving the region being cut.
