National data collection: UN family to support Uganda
In a move to centralize national data collection, the Uganda Bureau of Statistics has received a 42 million dollar UN family grant. This grant will enhance the capacity of the institution to compile all data relevant to national development, including tracking the progress of the Sustainable Development Goals.
