Observers want review of the investment law
A coalition code named ''CSOs investment code group'' are advising the government to review the current investment laws, citing many gaps including weak enforcement mechanisms against investors who fail to meet their obligations. They argue that the current Act the limits powers of the Uganda Investment Authority, to regulate investments in the country, where majority of investors have been found to fall short on their promises.
