Red Cross dispatches second consignment of relief items
The Uganda Red Cross Society has dispatched the second consignment of non-food relief items to assist the people of Kalangala, who were affected by the cyclone on Saturday, March 15, 2025.
This comes after a comprehensive needs assessment conducted by Uganda Red Cross Kalangala branch together with the Kalangala district disaster management committee
Among the relief supplies that have been dispatched include sleeping mats, jerrycans, knives, plates, cups, cooking pots and blankets among the many essentials needed.
