106 youths get UGX 100M grant for new businesses
Over 106 youths who have reformed and abandoned cattle rustling to engage in sustainable income-generating activities have received a grant of 100 million UGX to establish various businesses. The beneficiaries from the sub-counties of Lotisan, Rupa, and Katikekile have been provided with start-up capital of over 100 million UGX to help improve their livelihoods. The youths intend to invest in cattle trade and cereal banking businesses.
