2026 Elections:Gen. Kale Kayihura calls for unity
Ugandans have been urged to keep peace and unity as the nation approaches its 2026 general elections. Retired General Kale Kayihura, the former Inspector General of Police in Uganda, made this call, urging leaders and Parliament to stay out of local politics and prioritize national harmony. He was speaking at the belated 44th Tarehe Sita commemoration in Kisoro district.
