American ambassador says they are ready to help Uganda in terrorism fight
Following the recent suspected Allied Democratic Forces attack in which two foreign tourists and their Ugandan guide died in Kasese District, the United States ambassador to Uganda, William Popp says America is willing to help Uganda in the fight against terrorism.
The envoy was on a two-day tour of western Uganda to assess the impact of various refugee programs supported by the US, especially in health and education. He said terrorism requires a combined effort and challenged the government of Uganda to decide how it would like to cooperate in order to protect the country against such terrorist occurrences in the future.
