Archbishop Semogerere tasks government on electoral violence
The Archbishop of Kampala, Paul Ssemogerere, has strongly criticized the government and law enforcement agencies for resorting to violence against opposition politicians and the public, including a Top TV journalist, during the nomination process for the Kawempe North parliamentary seat. The prelate called for calm in the run up to the 2026 elections.
