Climate adaptation program expands to 14 districts
The local-level climate change adaptation program has expanded to include six new districts: Agago, Kiboga, Kikuube, Koboko, Kotido, and Moroto—bringing the total number of enrolled districts to 14. The districts will receive 16 billion Ugandan shillings to support climate-adaptive initiatives, which include irrigation and the promotion of drought-resistant crops, as Racheal Nabisubi reports.
