Deputy Speaker Tayebwa lauds UNAD on 50 years of supporting deaf
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Thomas Tayebwa has promised to advocate for the needs of people with hearing impairment by influencing parliament to invest more in their needs, especially in the construction of the skilling centre for the deaf. The deputy speaker also backed inclusive education so all children, including those with hearing impairment, have equitable access to learning. The call came during the celebration 50th anniversary of the Uganda National Association of the Deaf, which coincided with fundraising for the construction of the skilling centre.
