Fort Portal company raided over alleged extortion, human trafficking
After several complaints from individuals allegedly promised white-collar jobs by Canan Dream Visionaries, a company based in Fort Portal City, police have raided the company's premises. Accompanied by RCC officers, police cordoned off the premises following reports of extortion and human trafficking allegations. According to Fort Portal Deputy RCC Emmanuel Businge, the company's administrators have been arrested, and their premises closed.
