Four police officers appear in court over dragging woman in mud
The four police officers captured dragging a woman through the mud after arresting her in Mbarara City yesterday are appearing before the Police Disciplinary Court. This follows their arrest on the same day. The officers are ASP Andrew Betunga, Detective Constable Hope Nsasirwe, Detective Constable Darious Aharizira, and Detective Constable Loyce Kiboneka. The disciplinary court, sitting at Rwizi Regional Police Headquarters in Mbarara, is being chaired by SP Joel Komakech. NTV understands that a charge of scandalous conduct has been brought against them as they await being produced in a civil court to face other criminal charges.
