Members of Bugisu Cooperative Union want UCDA to remain an autonomous body
Members of the Bugisu Cooperative Union have joined others in calling for the Uganda Coffee Development Authority to remain autonomous rather than being integrated into the Ministry of Agriculture. Officials from one of Uganda's largest cooperatives warned that dissolving the Uganda Coffee Development Authority could disrupt coffee cultivation and marketing in the country, potentially undermining sector development.
