New Sec. Gen. promises to deepen East African integration
Members of the East African Legislative Assembly have asked the recently appointed secretary general of the community Veronica Mueni Nduva to ensure the proper utilisation of the hard earned resources contributed by the partner states.Uganda's representative, Paul Musamali warned that the assembly would ensure accountability for every coin.The caution came during this afternoon's sitting in Arusha in Tanzania where the East African Community presented a USD 112 million budget for the financial year 2024/25.
