NRM starts drive to recapture Buganda from opposition
The National Resistance Movement National Vice Chairman for Buganda, Godfrey Kiwanda has started a program which despite being geared to rally the population towards wealth creation, is planned to lead to the recapture of the sub-region from the opposition. Launched by the NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong, the party plans to use the Kisoboka Agricultural Expo to comb every district of Buganda with 10 major rallies to be held in selected districts and towns. Todwong states that the activities which will start in July will continue until President Museveni is sworn in 2026.
